Irene Westfall Robbins, 93, passed away peacefully in Irvine on April 30, 2008, surrounded by her loving family. Born in Indianapolis, Indiana, on June 19, 1914, Irene is survived by her husband of 71 years, Richard C. Robbins, her son, Richard R. Robbins Susan of San Jose, and her daughter, Jean R. Lamb Larry of Irvine. She is also survived by six grandchildren: Barbara Mark, Emily Robb, Rick Beth, Ken Shannon, Meg Eric, and Nick Stephanie; also five great-grandchildren: Alex, Hannah, Kate, Jess, and Mischa. A memorial service will be held at Irvine Presbyterian Church, at 4445 Alton Parkway in Irvine, on Saturday, May 10th at 11:00 a.m. In remembrance of Irene's passion for the color blue, attire in this color is suggested.
