Dear Mrs. Stretz, Jean and I share your grief at Mr. Stretz’ passing, and know that the world will be an emptier and lesser place in his absence. I was always taken by his kind and gentle nature and how he always made me feel welcome and part of his family. The following words say better than I can how those who new him felt about him. “His life was gentle, and the elements so mixed in him, that nature might stand and say to all the world, This was a man.” William Shakespeare

He radiated love, kindness, and warmth to both friends and strangers. It was a pleasure just to be in his presence.
We are upholding the family in prayer during this difficult time.
