To my wonderful Uncle and God Father, Our hearts still ache in sadness, and secret tears still flow, what it meant to lose you, no one will ever know. May you dwell in the house of our lord forever. Someday we will all be together again. Until then, know that you are dearly loved and we will miss you everyday.

My condolences to Colonel Conroy’s family. He was my first C.O. in the Fleet Marine Forces assigned to MACS-2. He quickly taught this young Lieutenant some lasting principles of leadership that last me to this day. He was an “Officer and a Gentleman”.
