An elegant, dignified and devoted wife and mother. The first time I had an opportunity to meet Eshrat was after she had embarked on her valiant fight, while in Mission Hospital receiving her chemotherapy. She was courageous, hopeful and always had that loving smile–we may not have clearly communicated in the same language, but words are not necessary betweem friends. Eshrat shall forever be remembered, and leaves behind a legacy of love in the son who fought so very hard to do everything he could to make her life as wonderful and as pain free as possible.
