With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Emma Morales, a beloved daughter, sister, wife, and mother, who departed this life on September 13, 2026, at the age of 90. Born on April 17, 1936, in Mexico City, Emma embodied the spirit of resilience and kindness throughout her life.

Emma’s journey was not without its challenges. She bravely battled breast cancer not once, but twice, and faced a stroke with remarkable courage and grace. Despite these trials, she remained a beacon of positivity, always finding ways to uplift those around her.

Known for her compassionate heart and radiant spirit, Emma had the extraordinary ability to make others laugh, especially during times of trouble. Her warm presence and generous nature left an indelible mark on all who had the privilege of knowing her.

Emma’s love story began in Mexico, where she first met her husband, Javier Morales. Their bond blossomed over time, starting as a friendship at family gatherings before evolving into a deep and abiding love. Years after their initial meeting, Javier asked for Emma’s hand in marriage, and she joyfully accepted. Together, they embraced a new life in the United States, where they became proud citizens and welcomed their cherished son, Francisco.

Emma leaves behind a legacy of love, strength, and creativity. She enjoyed crafting beautiful, knitted items, lovingly made with her own hands, that filled the home with warmth.

Emma is survived by her husband, Javier Morales; her son, Francisco Morales; her beloved sister Trinita; and countless friends and family who will carry her memory in their hearts.

A Funeral Mass will be held in her honor at Santiago de Compostela Catholic Church on September 25, 2026, at 10:00 AM, where we will come together to celebrate her remarkable life and the impact she had on all of us. Emma will be laid to rest at the Basilica de Guadalupe in Mexico City at a later date.

Her spirit will forever live on in the hearts of those she touched, and her legacy of love and kindness will continue to inspire us all. Rest in peace, dear Emma. You will be profoundly missed.

Emma was preceded in death by her parents, Manuel Rojas and Francisca Rojas, and siblings Salvador, Jose Refugio, Teresa, Maria de los Angeles, and Rosario.
