  1. I remember the wonderful time I had with Hedy and Emma in Hawaii. Emma had
so much energy. She was always ready to visit the sights in Maui. Before dinner, we would sit on the balcony and enjoy the the ocean view and the fragrant tropical
flowers. Emma was so positive and adventurous. I feel so honored to have known her.

  2. My condolences to the family on Emma’s passing. I always felt welcome when I saw her wonderful smile.

  4. We have been friends with Hedy since 1964, and we knew her mother when in the US (California); Emma was a good cook, and I always like to come to her house and eat the Indonesian food, especially her “rendang” (Indonesian beef), and my son said that the rendang that she cooked was the best!
She was always so cheerful when meeting with us at her home, or restaurants, and other places…
We were so glad to be able to visit her in the hospital on July 4, and still be able to shake hands with her for the very last time.
My daughter missed her very much, as she considered her like the 2nd grandma. after my mother passed away.
Tante Emma, we will miss you very much!
