Obituary
Elsie Genevieve Garrett, born March 29th 1921 in Rockford, Illinois & died January 1st, 2008. Her family of nine moved to California in 1929. She married her high school sweetheart, James A. Garrett in 1940 and resided in the city of Rancho Santa Margarita since 1987. She was the loving mother of James, Daniel & Nancie Elyse Garrett. She was the loving grandmother of Daron, Ashly, Joshua, Nataly, Siena, Malia & Jillian. She lived a wonderful life, traveling with her husband to Europe, visiting her daughter in Chicago and her son in Hawaii. She shared her love for life with everyone, always compassionate and kind. We all loved her very much and now she is our angel, in heaven, helping others. God bless her!!!!

Elsie was a very special lady. She was like a second mom to me and I really cared and loved her. I regret not seeing her before her ilness took hold. When I think of her I remember the many stories. There was one I don’t think I’ll ever forget. She told a story about Nancie and her shopping and the sound of a duck that followed them. I can see her laugh and smile with her eyes all sparkling as she told her story. She was so cute when she knew she had one on you. I was very lucky to have been a part of her family and I’ll never forget her kindness to Daron and Ashley. She was a great GRANDMOTHER.
Dan and Nancie I know your mom loved you with all her heart and you meant the world to her. I’m so very sorry for your loss.
