Elizabeth Ann Calvitti (Koch), beloved wife, daughter, mother, and grandmother, passed away on November 17, 2024, in Mission Viejo, California.

She is survived by her husband of 45 years, William Calvitti; mother, Doris Koch; two children, Michael Calvitti and Amy van der Linden; daughter-in-law, Misti Calvitti; son-in-law, John van der Linden; and two grandchildren – Jemma van der Linden and Finn van der Linden. She was preceded in death by her father, Frederick Koch and sister, Doreen Feeley.

Elizabeth was born on November 5, 1954 in Queens, New York. When she was 7, her family moved to Valley Stream, New York where she spent her childhood. She graduated from Valley Stream High School and went on to secretarial school in New York City. She worked for CBS in New York City as a secretary in her early career. In 1976, she moved to California where she worked for Pacific Life Insurance Company for the next 45 years. She retired in February 2021 as a Financial Analyst.

Elizabeth enjoyed many things. Spending time with her family, traveling to favorite vacation destinations (Lake Tahoe, Cambria, Monterey), gathering with friends for lunches, reading, going to the movies, a good New York style pizza, and more recently spending time with her two grandchildren, whom she adored with all her heart. Elizabeth was always eager to learn new things and tinker with new gadgets.

Elizabeth will be deeply missed for her loving heart and sound wisdom. A funeral mass will be held at Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church on January 16, 2025, with interment services at Riverside National Cemetery on the same day.
