Elizabeth Dorothy Pequet
June 7 ^th , 1926 – July 24 ^th , 2024

Betty, as she was known by all who knew and loved her, passed peacefully in her sleep. Her daughter Jane was by her side. She is survived by Jane Payne (Dan) and son Don Lawson (Diane); granddaughters Jami Moore (Scott) and Catherine Payne; great granddaughters Addison and Brooklyn Payne, Alysa (Sarah) and Ashley Moore, Caitlin Lawson; and sister Martha Colley.

Betty sold real estate for over 35 years in the Orange County area, meeting many new friends and even showing houses to a highly published fiction author.

Her life and accomplishments are too lengthy to list but included involvement in the formation of the City of Laguna Niguel, Rotary International, Lions Club, Chamber of Commerce and Senior Advisory Committee. Let us not forget the honor as 2015 Citizen of the Year.

Betty touched the lives of so many family members and lifelong friends. Words cannot describe how she will be missed.
