Obituary

Elinor Patricia Nielsen passed away at home on November 16, 2014. Born in New Jersey in 1928, she was 86 at the time of her death. She lived over 20 years in Lake Forest and her last 3 years in Santa Ana. She married her sweetheart, James and they enjoyed 62 years together. They played golf, sailed, and traveled around the world in addition to enjoying family events. She had a very successful career in real estate and as an Executive Secretary.

Elinor is survived by her daughters Jean, Barbara and Susan as well as 9 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband James and son James.

A vigil will be held Friday, November 21 from 7:00 PM – 9:00 PM at O’Connor Mortuary located at 25301 Alicia Parkway, Laguna Hills. The funeral liturgy will be held Saturday, November 22 at 10:00 AM at Santiago de Compostela Catholic Church located at 21682 Lake Forest Road, Lake Forest. A funeral service will follow at Ascension Cemetery in Lake Forest.
