In Loving Memory of Elijah William Duarte

December 6, 1996 – October 10, 2026

Elijah William Duarte, lovingly known as “Eli,” passed away on October 10, 2026, at the age of 29.

Eli was a hardworking young man with a great heart, a funny personality, and a deeply protective nature when it came to the people he loved. He had a way of bringing laughter to those around him, and his love for his family and the people closest to him was a special part of who he was.

Eli took pride in his work and was dedicated to building a future for himself. Four and a half years ago, he joined the union, Local 652, and through his hard work and determination, worked his way up to journeyman. He was proud of the work he did and the progress he made in his career.

When he wasn’t working, Eli enjoyed fishing and spending time doing the things that made him happy. He also shared a special bond with his girlfriend, Delia, who held an important place in his life.

Eli leaves behind his loving mother, Sharie Hickey; his stepfather, Dan Hickey; his son, EJ; his sisters, Ali and Allison; and his brother, Josh. He will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all those who had the privilege of knowing and loving him.

Although Eli’s life was far too short, the love he gave, the laughter he shared, and the memories he created will remain in the hearts of those he leaves behind. He was a son, a father, a brother, and a loved one whose place in this world can never be replaced.

Eli will forever be loved, forever missed, and forever a part of the hearts of those who love him.

“I love you forever, I like you for always, as long as I’m living, my baby you’ll be.”

Forever your mom. ❤️
