Elia you were a special friend. Always checking on us to see how we are doing. You put others first. You brought 2 new friends into my life when I moved to Seattle and we have remained friends since. You have left a great legacy. May you rest with the angels.

Elias or Thuo to many, a rare gem. Your kindness is legendary, from kids you supported back in Kenya to people you mentored in America, lives transformed because you gave so generously. I have met many people you have impacted positively. Their lives will never be the same – thanks to you. May Paula, Chiru, Njeri and Maya never lack, may they find peace even at this difficult time. I loved you as my brother and I’ll miss your company, your laughter and the many memories we shared will give me cause to smile despite the many tears I’ve shed. Rest easy Mr.
