Obituary
Mary Elaine Makin, 71, of Laguna Woods, California passed away on August 26, 2010 in Laguna Hills, California. Elaine was born to Walter and Marie Rush in Cincinnati, Ohio on December 8, 1938 and moved to Rancho Palos Verdes, California with her husband and children in 1969. She died peacefully and pain-free with her four sons and true love of 57 years at her bedside.
She is survived by her husband Roy, sons Scot, Greg, Brian, and Kirk, and brother Wayne.

Elaine will be so very missed!!! She was always such a joy to be around!!! Tuff Duck, you’re the best!!! She had such a great personality and did a wonderful job raising 4 boys–rest easy now, and see you when we get there!

I was so saddened to hear of Elaine’s passing. She was a great neighbor to me for many years, and you boys were like my own. I know your mom will be in your hearts forever. I was so happy to hear Elaine and Roy were reunited and so very happy. My deepest condolences to you all.
