Obituary

Eiden Abram Abdavi Azar was born on June 24, 1991, in Mission Viejo, California, and passed away at the age of 34 on February 7, 2026, at his home in San Clemente, California. His passing has left an immeasurable void in the hearts of his family and friends, and he will be deeply missed.

Eiden is survived by his parents, Parviz and Ginger Abdavi-Azar; his brothers, Zachary and Samuel; his longtime roommates, his cherished dog, Roger; and many close friends and relatives. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Ronald and Augusta Gilliland and Kholsum and Taghi Abdavi-Azar.

Eiden lived an active and adventurous life. He loved the beach, animals, hiking, riding motorcycles, gaming, snorkeling, and spending time with friends. He especially cherished summers in North Carolina, where he enjoyed four-wheeling and exploring nature.

Free-spirited and deeply passionate about his convictions, Eiden had a gift for bringing joy to others. If a room grew quiet, he would always find a way to make everyone laugh.

Eiden graduated from Aliso Niguel High School in 2009 where he proudly wrestled all four years. He attended Saddleback College and dedicated 15 years of his career to working as a field engineer at his family’s company.

Though his journey on this Earth was far too short, we ask that he be remembered for the way he lived his life—fully, boldly, and with heart.

A memorial service to honor the life of Eiden Abram Abdavi-Azar will be held on February 20, 2026, at 2:00 PM, graveside at Pacific View Memorial Cemetery in Corona del Mar, California. Friends and family are welcome to join us after the service at Corona Del Mar State Beach for a bonfire, weather permitting. Guests are encouraged to bring a beach chair.

Family and friends plan to honor Eiden’s memory by installing a memorial bench in San Clemente, near the beach where he spent many cherished hours with his beloved dog, Roger. In lieu of flowers, donations toward this memorial can be made via Venmo, or cash donations given directly to Eiden’s parents or brothers.
