It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Efren L. Malagon, a beloved father, grandfather, and friend, who left us on July 16, 2026, at the age of 96. Born on June 18, 1930, in Mexico, Efren lived a life filled with love, joy, and dedication. A ranch worker, he devoted countless hours to the agriculture industry, instilling in his family the values of hard work and perseverance.

Efren was a man of many passions. He found joy in dancing and singing, and his love for horseback riding was a testament to his connection with nature and the spirit of adventure. His generous heart and kindness touched the lives of all who knew him. A deeply faithful man, he lived his life with unwavering trust in God’s will, relying on his faith to guide him through life’s challenges.

Each year, Efren honored Our Lady of Guadalupe with heartfelt celebrations on December 12th, marked by Mass, flowers, choir performances, and fireworks—a tradition that reflected both his devotion and the joy he found in community.

Efren leaves behind his loving family and his legacy of love and faith will continue to resonate within their hearts. In our memories, Efren will always be a source of inspiration, a person who exemplified love, faith, and generosity. May he rest in peace, and may his beautiful spirit live on in all of us who were honored to know him.
