Edward Lee Poettgen, 79. Born October 6, 1925 in Illinois. Passed away December 7, 2004 at home in Mission Viejo, California. Edward retired from the U.S. Marine Corps as a AM Seargent after 20 years of honorable service to our country. Edward is survived by his sons, Reverend Edward L. Poettgen, Jr. and James F. Poettgen; daughters, Debra McClendon, Diane Eldridge, Mary Boeddeker, Susan Poettgen and peggy Ward; Sisters, Mary Lou Judge and Gloria Chaklos; Brothers Vincent Poettgen and Gene Poettgen and 15 grandchildren.
