I remember my Uncle Ed as a very soft spoken man, who always had interesting and sound advice that he shared with me throughout my life. The many special holidays our two families spent together are forever etched in my mind. The music that filled his house was always swing and jazz, and over the years influenced my taste in music. He turned me on to jazz at an early age, and I still think of him whenever I listen to Ramsey Lewis, or Dave Brubeck. He was a master of the game of ping pong and billiards, and never refused a game with us kids. He also, to my recollection played a mean harmonica! My sympathies go out to his children, Bridget, Tina, and Greg. He will be greatly missed by the people he left an impression on.

What an awesome tribute!! I was lucky enough to receive training in ping pong and billiards from the master also. I never picked up the harmonica, but I enjoyed listening to him. Wonderful memories. I love you cousin!!
