Attwood, Edward M., of Lake Forest, he was born March 21, 1917 in St. Louis, Missouri, and died on Monday, December 25, 2006 in Laguna Hills, California.

In 1941, Edward moved to Southern California. He married Ruby in 1943 and served the Army from 1945 thru 1947. During the two years in the Army, he took part in the Occupation of Japan and Korea.

After the service, he worked for North American Aviation in Experimental Operations for 39 years.

He is survived by his stepson, Frank D. Washington and Daughter-in-law, Joann Washington; grandchildren, David F. Washington and his family; Dale Edward Washington and his family; Diane R. Hassey and her family and Susan Washington and her family. He is also survived by his ten great-grandchildren. He was dearly loved by many and will be deeply missed by all.

Funeral Service will be held on Friday, December 29, 2006 ~ 10:00 A.M. at Mission Hills Church in Mission Viejo, California.

An Interment will immediately follow at Inglewood Park Cemetery in Inglewood, California.
