    Pop,
It is very difficult for me to think of life here on Earth without you. You have so many qualities that helped shape the way I view life today. Your sense of humor, love for your family, ever-present smile, and strong values have been the foundation of our family for so many years. I know you will always be looking over our family.
Thank you for the many things you took the time to teach me, and even more for the things you taught by example. I can only aspire to be the kind of husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather that you have been in the years to come.
I hope you know how proud I am to be your grandson. I love you Pop.

  2. When I think of you Pop, I see the gleam in your eye and the sparkle in your smile. You are the back bone of the Teats family. We are a family because of you!
I never saw you down or unhappy, you always made light of things with your jokes and your laughter and made the rest of us realize not to take life too seriously.
Laughter is the best medicine. I’ll never forget how you always would steal my fork at the dinner table and hide my shoes on top of the doors where I was too short to see them. The trips we would take to the Orange County Fair and the summer days we played baseball in the front yard. You are such a fun and loving Pop and I thank you for all of the memories. They live on in my mind and especially in my heart. I love you and miss you sooo much! Be good up there, and stay out of trouble! See you in Heaven.
    Love, Andrea

  3. My papa was such an awesome role model. He used to walk me and my sister to the park and push us on the tire swing which was my favorite!. He never showed an ounce of anything but love. I will always remember him, how could I forget my hero. I can see him now, as he always was, sitting in his chair with a big smile! He always seemed to look on the good side of things. We would always play blackjack, baseball in the front yard, feed the birds in the backyard. We always had a blast. He would walk in every morning and blow a whistle to wake me up! We would take walks at night around the block and just talk…be a family. He would take me to the library so I could rent my favorite movie…Alvin & Chipmunks! We would go to the Orange county fair every year, I looked forward to it. We would go to Ruby’s on the pier and order the same thing every time. I love him, I miss him. I will never forget him. Love Autmun

Dad, It’s been a couple days now since we said our earthly good byes. I guess you had an early tee time and I bet you played great. I hear your foursome included God the Father, God the Son and the Holy Spirit. I AM SOOO HAPPY FOR YOU IN HEAVEN. I know I had a lot of trouble accepting your condition the last few years and I’m sorry if I didn’t always give you the respect you deserved. I will always cherish our fun times and not so fun times together. I thank God and you for being my Fathers and giving me direction for earth and heaven. I look forward to the day when we can sing and worship God together. I hope our heaven voices are heavenly or maybe we’ll have to be in the band. As long as we are together will be all that counts. Save some peanut butter pie for someone else, altho sharing is one of your best characteristics. I can’t wait to see and hug you again. Love, Bear
