On Thursday November 18, 2021, Edna Vaughan, Wife, Mother, Grandmother and Friend passed away at the age of 81.

Edna Pearl Anderson was born October 5 ^th 1940 in Fresno, California.  She married Oliver Vaughan in 1957 and moved to San Jose, CA where she began a career in accounting.  They eventually moved to Mission Viejo, CA in 1970 and raised their three children there.

She enjoyed volunteering, being part of Ayudantes philanthropic group in Mission Viejo, was a Girl Scout Leader and then later was part of Beta Sigma Phi philanthropic women's group.  After she retired from Saddleback College she volunteered at Mission Hospital, in Mission Viejo.  She also loved gardening, being able to make anything thrive, roses being her favorite.

She is survived by her husband of 64 years, Oliver Vaughan, brother Mel Anderson, daughter Stephanie (Vaughan) Swindell (Mark Swindell) and son Brad Vaughan (Stephanie Vaughan).  She was preceded in death by her daughter Lisa (Vaughan) Austin.  She's the Grandmother of six including Ash Vaughan 21, Logan Vaughan 19, Preston Vaughan 16, Ella Swindell 15, Ivy Swindell 14 and  Rowan Swindell 13, who will all miss her very much.

A funeral service will be held at O'Connor Mortuary 25301 Alicia Pkwy, Laguna Hills, CA 92653 on Sunday December 5 ^th , 2021 at 10:00 am.
