I was so saddened to hear of Dr. Folkers passing. Dr. Folkers took care of my pets for over 10 years. He was incredibly dedicated and thoughtful. Never was his kindness more evident than last year, when I had to make the heart wrenching decision to put my dog down. Dr. Folkers was calm, peaceful and gentle. He will be very missed. My thoughts and prayers go out to those who loved him.

I was stunned to learn today that Dr. Folkers had left this earthly world last May. He cared for my two wonderful dogs their whole lives, and posted pictures of them when they each passed away. He gave us many more months with our Robert, by his early diagnosis, and great treatment of the fast-growing cancer. He also saved our beautiful German Shepherd’s life when her system shut down inexplicably. We will miss his wisdom, compassion, and great heart – and our prayers and sympathy are with his family members.
