Edgar Howard Compton II, beloved husband, father, and grandfather, passed away peacefully on January 3, 2024, at his home in Irvine, CA.  He was born on August 4, 1943 in Los Angeles, California to Edgar and July Crandall Compton.

Ed’s journey through life was marked by love, dedication, and an unwavering commitment to his family and community.  On September 9, 1966 he married the love his life, Charlene Marie Koopmans at Emmanuel Reformed Church in Paramount, CA.  Their marriage, achieving 57 years together, was a testament to the strength of their bond and stood as an example to all who knew them.
