Sosamma George was born in Kerala, India on 25th May 1944. After completing her formal education, she married Dr. K.O. George Son of Late Rev. K.G. Oommen on April 18th, 1968. Soon after, son Oommen K. George was born to the young couple’s life. Thereafter, both established thriving practice and developed the Fellowship Hospital and Pharmaceutical in Punalur, Kerala, India. Dr. Sosamma was a nationally recognized homoeopathic
physician and established an OBGYN and Female Disease Branch at the Hospital in Kerala. She was a member of several professional societies and a community leader in Punalur.

In 1977, Dr. Sosamma immigrated to the United States with her family to further her professional training and co-founded Hahnemannian Research Center, Inc & HRC Laboratories in Irvine, CA. She was well known
nationally & internationally as an authority in Homoeopathic Medicine and was a regular seminar speaker in female chronic degenerative diseases. In addition to her publications and research articles in dynamic medicine, she was a contributing editor to various medical books, recognized as a Professor of Medicine according to the article of the Homoeopathic Medical Educational Advisory Commission, and authorized by Hahnemannn Medical Society of America. In addition to her stellar medical practice over forty years, she was also a very devoted wife, loving mother and great friend. Many of her family friends and relatives knew her
as Rajamma. Her gifts of wisdom, sharp mind and leadership qualities
have helped steer many broken lives in the right direction. Her healing touch has helped restore many bodies ravaged with sickness along with the hope to go on. Her untiring hands have provided hospitality to many ministers and workers of the gospel at all times during her life. Her optimistic personality always cried out ‘It is possible!’ even in the worst situations of human life.

Dr. Sosamma has left behind a rich and a versatile legacy, which will stand for many years to come. Her loving husband, son, daughter-in-law
and grandchildren survive her.
