Douglas Leonard Albin, 83, of Mission Viejo, CA, passed away peacefully at his home on October 18, 2023. Doug was born on August 5, 1940, in Vermillion, South Dakota. He spent his early years in South Dakota before the family moved to Aurora, Colorado, and eventually Southern California, where he graduated from Morningside High School in Inglewood.

Returning to a career in sales, he started working for Seal Science in the late 1990s before retiring in 2022.
He was an avid bowler, having bowled several 300 games over the many years he spent on the bowling lanes. He loved all sports, but none more than his beloved USC Trojans football. He loved to travel spending time with friends visiting Cabo.
Doug is survived by his loving family, including his sons, Chris and Debbie (Darrigo) Albin, David and Cyndy (Canning) Albin, brother Don Albin, sister Lori Obermeyer (Albin), stepdaughter Camela (Barsotti) Roberts, stepdaughter Tamara (Barsotti) and Jeff Huggins, and stepson Edward and Brandy Johns. May he rest in peace.
