Dorthy G. Legg was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She was born in Oregon, but spent most of her life in southern California.

She was married to Cornelious Michael Legg for 42 years and was windowed for 24 years once he passed. She is survived by two daughters: Mary Ellen MacKenzie and Jeanine Wimbrough. She lost her eldest daughter, Jeri Johnson, to cancer in 2002.

She worked in administration at the Automobile Club of Southern California for over 25 years.

She enjoyed gardening and sewing. She was a kind and loving woman and enjoyed spending quality time with her loved ones. She worked hard at everything she did. She was strong-willed and never let life slow her down. She was never defeated easily. She was the type of person many would strive to be.

She was a fighter until the very end and passed peacefully in her sleep.
