Obituary

Dorothy passed away peacefully at her home on November 4th, 2018. She was born in New York and after meeting the love of her life moved to California to raise her family. Dorothy has been a resident of Mission Viejo for 46 years. Her first priority was her family, but her love of shopping, playing Bunco, and going to lunch with girlfriends were among her favorite things.

She bravely confronted and fought breast cancer for many years. Nothing made her smile brighter than spending time with her Grandchildren. She was a member of the Deane Women’s Club, Assistance League, and delivering food for Meals on Wheels.

There are no words to describe how much we will all miss her. She leaves behind her children, Kathleen (Bob), Patricia, Glenn, and Theresa; her Grandchildren Amber, Holly, Eric, Carly, Kayla, Garrett, Geneva, and Geena; and Great Grandchildren Layla, Alexander, Gentry, Jordyn, and one precious girl on the way.

Rosary will be held Sunday November 11that 7:00pm at O’Connor Mortuary in Laguna Hills. Funeral Mass will be held Monday November 12th1:00pm at Santiago de Compostela Church in Lake Forest with reception to follow. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the American Cancer Society or Susan G. Komen foundation in her name.
