Obituary

Dorothy Mary Hurst peacefully passed away on Saturday, February 25, 2017. She had been a patient at Kindred Hospital, recovering from surgery. She was born on June 7, 1926 in Cincinnati, Ohio to Robert and Marie Heller.

Dorothy loved the Lord and always set the example for her family with her words and actions. She is now in heaven with Jim, Sr., her Knight in Shining Armor! Dorothy enjoyed bowling, line dancing, golf and especially her family. We were all lucky to have her with us for so many years!

Dorothy is survived by her sister, Carol Skinner; her 4 children-Sandie Lee, Jim, Jr., Bob and Michelle Nasrallah. Also, Sandie’s husband, Michael Lee; Jim’s wife, Tracie; Michelle’s husband, John Nasrallah; as well as 11 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. There are many nieces and nephews that will have wonderful memories of her.

A Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 9, 2017 from 7 to 9pm. at the O’Connor Mortuary, 25301 Alicia Parkway, Laguna Hills, CA. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday, March 11, 2017 at 10:30 a.m., at St. Kilian’s Catholic Church, 26872 Estanciero, Mission Viejo, CA.

There will be a reception immediately following service at the church until 2 p.m. A private burial service will be held for family members at Ascension Cemetery, Lake Forest, CA immediately following the reception
