Dorothy Ann Laguna, 77, passed away on February 24, 2013 at Valley View Gardens in Buena Park, California after a long and brave battle with Alzheimer's disease. Dorothy was born May 17, 1935 in Wells, Michigan to the late Thomas and Rose Kroll. Dorothy grew up in Escanaba with her siblings Tommy Jr., Marion and Margaret. She graduated St. Joseph High School in 1953. On April 8, 1961, Dorothy married John Laguna at St. Anthony's Catholic Church in Wells and together they raised three daughters.

Dorothy is survived by her husband, John Laguna; their daughters Lori McAnish, Lynn Laguna and Gail Laguna; grandchildren Shane McAnish and Audrey Rose Byrd; and sister Margaret Gregoire.

The Laguna family would like to thank the staff of Valley View Gardens Assisted Living and Diane and the rest of the staff at Alpenglow Hospice for all the care and support they have provided over the years. We could not have made it through without you.
