Obituary
Longtime Mission Viejo resident Dorothy Karin Fenn, loving wife and mother of three, and grandmother of three, passed away March 20. The daughter of Roderick and Ramona Robertson, Dorothy was born in 1936. She and her brothers, Brock and Rod, were raised in Arcadia and spent summers in Balboa. In 1955 she graduated from Newport Harbor High School, and in 1959, Dorothy and Howard Fenn were married. They had three children, Deborah, Patty and Roderick. While raising her family, Dorothy became a member of the Mission Viejo Art Association, where she cultivated a love for creating works of art using clay, paper, paints, fibers and beads. She participated in the Pageant of the Masters in Laguna Beach and several other juried art exhibitions throughout Southern California.
A rosary/vigil service will be held at O’Connor Mortuary in Laguna Hills at 7:30 p.m. Friday, March 26. A funeral mass, at St. Killian Catholic Church in Mission Viejo where Dorothy was a member, will take place Saturday, March 27 at 11 a.m. A reception will follow in the parish hall. Dorothy will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 51 years, her children, grandchildren Alana, Ian and Mallory, her brothers and her many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, cousins and friends.

Although I only knew you for a short period of time you touched my heart and my soul. You were such a brave and strong person to have suffered all these years and I know that you must now be at peace. I will always remember our wonderful conversations about your art, grandchildren, travels, and your son. May you rest in peace. Love, Julie
