Obituary

Passed away Friday, June 24, 2006 at Hoag Hospital in Newport Beach after enduring her 3rd open-heart surgery in 13 years. Dorothy was a very giving soul who lived life with a nurturing and caring spirit and enjoyed helping others. Her passion and dedication to family and friends were her most revered qualities. Her fun-loving attitude is best typified by the motto ?Live, Laugh, and Love? which she embraced and exemplified.

Her determination and strong will were unmistakable traits and allowed her to persevere through adversity, provide hope, and keep her positive and optimistic. She enjoyed many activities, particularly reading, cooking, traveling, and watching sports. She dedicated lots of time and energy toward making her home elegant, comfortable, and welcoming and was something she took great pride in.

  1. To Lou and family:

Our sympathy goes out to you all on the loss of such a kind and beautiful lady. We have always felt your friendship from those early years in Princeton Lakes. And remember those dinners out on Saturdays after the evening mass at St. Ann’s with our young kids in tow?

May your love and all of the fond memories of Dorothy keep her spirit alive in your hearts.

    Love, Linda and Tim Bradigan

    Dear Lou & Family,

Dorothy was such a sweet lady. I always enjoyed talking with her during Monsanto social events. I remember her with a smile on her face and a very charming personality.

Sherwood and I send our deepest sympathy.

  3. Lou, Sean and Cory – I will always have great memories of us as kids getting into some kind of trouble and I would praying your mom would find us first. She always had the kindest way about her. Even though I knew we were in trouble for doing something, I never felt like I was in trouble when your mom was there. I hope you know I understood a little bit about how cool she was. We are thinking about you guys.

    Sean, Sharon and Isabella
