Dorothy “Dottie” Jean Darr passed away at Hoag Hospital in Irvine on Thursday, October 29th. Born Sept. 20th 1928 in Iowa, she lived in many areas of Southern California, before settling in Irvine.

She was an avid golfer, bridge player and gardener.

Survivors include her three children, Cheryl Bates, Dawnella Summers and Michael Darr as well as four grandchildren and and four great grandchildren.

A celebration of her life will be held at Aventura Sailing Assoc, 24707 Dana Dr, Dana Point CA, on November 22nd from Noon until 2:00.
