Donna Lee (Anderson) Gough

Donna Gough, who was called “Mom” by her kids, departed her caring family on April 2, 2026 just short of her 91st birthday.

Donna was born in Nebraska on April 24, 1935 to Catherine and Alvin Anderson

She was mother to Gary, Karen, and Roger. She raised her children in Orange, CA with her husband Lawrence Gough.

Donna received bachelor’s degree at the University of California, Santa Barbara and a Master’s degree from Long Beach State University.

As an educator, Donna was known for her organized and enjoyable classes. Her hobbies included reading, visiting gardens and museums, and traveling. She belonged to several groups including book clubs, American Association of University Women (AAUW), and gourmet dinner groups. Also, she especially enjoyed spending long weeks up at the Shaver Lake cabin. She was most proud of her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.

She is survived by her 3 children, 4 grandchildren, and 5 great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the AAUW can be made in Donna’s name.
