Donna M. Eastwood, 87, a beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend, passed away peacefully on November 20, 2024, surrounded by her family.
Born in Los Angeles, CA, she lived a life filled with devotion, strength, and unwavering love for her family.
Donna was the proud mother of eight children, whose lives she enriched with her wisdom, warmth, and never-give-up attitude. She is preceded in death by her loving husband Joe, her cherished son, Robbie, her parents, Donald and Marjorie Meredith, and brothers, Bobbie, Tom, and Mike Meredith.
She faced life's challenges with grace and resilience, creating a home that was full of laughter, love, and her family's favorite foods.
Donna is survived by her children, Deborah (Howard) Bleier, Anthony (Barbara) Alexander, Kimberly McCann, Linda (Rick) Evans, Joseph (Bob) Eastwood, Jeanette (Mark) Russell, Andrew (Allison) Eastwood, and her youngest brother, Ron (Kim) Meredith. They will carry forward her legacy of kindness and generosity. She was also a devoted grandmother of 16 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren, who brought her endless joy and affection. Her family was her greatest pride, and her memory will live on in their hearts forever.
Donna was dedicated to her faith and inspired everyone around her. She had a passion for home decorating, travel, reading, crime dramas, and music.
Her life was a testament to selflessness, perseverance, and love. She will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
A funeral service will be held on 1/10/2025 at 10am at St. Timothy Catholic Church, in Laguna Niguel, CA. Friends and family are invited to gather and celebrate her remarkable life. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her honor to The Lewy Body Dementia Association.
