  2. Dear Dad,

I know that you are here with me I just can’t see you. I feel your spirit, I hear your laughter, I know you are my Guardian Angel. In ways I feel selfish because you were taken from me much to soon and the void that it has left is ever so painful and I beg for you back as I go through my days. I also know that you are with our Lord as you were always his to begin with. I know that you have your own room in Heaven. I know the day you took your last breath here before me I was overcome with sadness but also with peace knowing that our Lord and all the people you longed for that passed before you were awaiting your arrival with open arms, and as this happened your face lit up like never before, I felt it and saw it as if I were with you! Although I long for you myself now I know that your needed by a power greater than myself and for that I respect. Our Lord wrapped his arms around you and gave you comfort that you never felt here on Earth for that I am greatful and my struggles during the day are lifted as I become overwhelmed with peace knowing this. It sounds like I know alot but I their is some things I don’t know, I don’t know that I will ever stop thinking of you, longing to call you on the phone, missing you when I go to Costco, crying for your hugs, hearing your voice as I come down the stair to the house we grew up in, watching Jepordy with you when I come for long visits and talking about our day over the phone just because we could! I can keep going on and on. Thank you for your Love, your advise, your wisdom, your trust, your dedication to Brianna and Brittney and most of all Thank You Daddy, for being “My Hero” and a “Hero” for so many others as you served our country in the USMC for over 32 years. Your dedication to your Country and to your Family will never be forgotton. As I carry on with my dedication to Family, as Brianna follows your Footsteps to “Honor ” and “Serve our Country” and as we still work with Brittney and her goals your name will always be at the forefront of it all. You believed in all of us and for that I will never forget thank you!

    Love Always,
    Your Daughter and Friend Forever
    Kathleen
