Donald L. Newberry
1930 ~ 2006
Don was born in Dallas Texas, he grew up in Bakersfield, CA and lived in Laguna Hills, CA for more than 37 yrs. Don joined the United States Navy in 1948. He served in the Korean War as a Corpsman. He worked as a Mortician, Insurance Salesman and retired in 1990 as a Pharmaceutical Sales Rep. He enjoyed trading Stocks and Commodities after retiring. Don enjoyed spending time with friends and family. Hunting with his sons, playing games with his grandchildren and socializing with friends. Don was a member of the Masonic Lodge, Shriners, Elks, VFW and the Chosin Few.Don is survived by his wife Jan; daughter and son-in-law Cheryl and Bob La Masney; son and daughter-in-law: Don and Karri ; son Scott; grandchildren Keith and Leah La Masney; brother Donald Vineyard; sister Lois Flores; cousins; nieces and nephews.

A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, February 11, 2006 ~ 11:00 A.M. at Mission Viejo Elks Lodge, 25092 Marguerite Parkway, California 92692
