  1. The Scherzer Family is shocked and sadden to learn of Don’s passing so much so that we are at a loss of words.

Larry met Don at BGSU and they became fraternity brothers but that does not express their true relationship. Larry always regarded Don as the big brother filled with knowledge about life that he hoped to have. Don told Larry that the first step was to stop wearing a t-shirt and he stopped. To this day, Larry has never worn a t-shirt.

    With much love,

    Carole and Larry

  2. A little over 20 years ago we became a blended family with the Pollocks, and had the pleasure of enjoying holiday parties and family events with Don, he was always a gracious host and made us always feel welcomed. When our son’s needed work (three of them) Don gave them a job, and as parents we were grateful! Don was a people person, he always had a pleasant greeting, and enjoyed talking about Grandchildren, family and fishing. Our sincere sympathy to Margie, Mike, Todd and Stacia and the rest of the Pollock family

  4. We are so deeply saddened to learn of Donny’s passing. Our hearts & prayers go out to our dear friends in this difficult time.
The memories we share go back decades and lifetimes but one constant memory of Donny is his huge smile and positive attitude. We have shared many laughs, loss of hair, family vacations, and great family memories that are too numerous to count and always make us smile. Your family has been our family and we feel like we have lost our own father. We have been blessed to have known such a kind and loving man and will miss him dearly.
    With love,
    Jean (Provo) Wegher
