Donald Davis, 74, of Big Bear, CA, went home to be with his Lord on Sunday, July 15, at 5am at his daughter's home with his wife and daughter at his side. He was born in Springfield, Missouri, and married his high school sweetheart, Rachel, in 1951. His happiest times were during retirement while living in Big Bear spending time with and traveling with all their friends. Don was baptized in preparation for his journey to heaven Saturday morning, July 14, in a private family celebration in his daughter's home. Don is survived by his wife, Rachel, and children, Monica, Sandie, Lydia and Bob and seven grandchildren, Nate, Elyse, Carissa, Rachel, Michael, Garrett and Amy.
