After gradually disappearing to Alzheimer’s Disease for the last 8 excruciating years, Dolores Harris’s beautiful soul is finally free.

Dolores Harris was dynamic, vibrant, and vivacious. She was young all her life. Dolores was full of love, generosity, beauty, excitement, intelligence, humor and passion. She was a devoted daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother and friend.

Dolores had a light that glowed from inside, and her light will live on in her family. She will always be a part of us. She was the most giving and caring person anyone will ever know. Dolores had a passion for life, she was grateful for every day. She had a strong appreciation for beauty and she found beauty in everyone and everything, and she made sure to compliment and praise it. Spirited and full of fun, she absolutely bubbled with personality and energy.

Dolores had so much love in her heart and she shared her love and spread kindness to everyone she met. She was a hugger and she gave strong warm comforting hugs. Dolores was truly delightful with her sparkling blue eyes and her beautiful smile and her laughter. She was a unique and extraordinary woman with a bright and enthusiastic spirit.

Dolores loved music, theater, dance, movies and books. She was a beautiful and graceful ballroom dancer. Dancing gave her so much happiness, dancing filled her with joy. Dolores had the time of her life when she was dancing. She loved being taken into someone’s arms and gliding across the dance floor with romantic music guiding them along. Now Dolores is dancing in Heaven, smiling and twirling with the angels.

Mommy always, always believed in me. She taught me to celebrate being alive. I am supremely proud and eternally grateful to be her daughter. We will honor my beautiful mommy by continuing her legacy of joy, her legacy of kindness and her legacy of love.

We miss you Mommy, Grammy, Dolores, and we will love you and cherish you with all our hearts and souls forever and ever and always.
