Obituary
Dirk Fred Ernst passed away in Katy, TX after a long battle with cancer on March 3, 2012. Survived by his wife, Janet and daughter, Stephanie; sisters Pandora Johnson and Kim Ernst-Umeda.
Memorial service will be held on Friday, March 30, 2012 at 11:00am at Mission Viejo Christian Church, 27192 Jeronimo Rd, Mission Viejo, CA 92692. Inurnment immediately following at El Toro Memorial Park, 25751 Trabuco Rd, Lake Forest, CA 92630.

Every now and then when I see a gorgeous landscape or a stunning sunset or sunrise I remember you my friend. I can’t believe that you’ve been gone over 4 years. I miss the chats about photography and how amazingly beautiful this world is for me now. Each time I have traveled through Fruita I always remember the video you sent me of your fat tire festival ride. I miss you my friend. RIP for sure buddy. I’ll see you on the other side.
