Diane was born on April 23, 1948. She died January 30, 2008 at her home in Plantation, Florida at the age of 59 years, 9 months. Diane was born in Brooklyn, New York. She and her family moved to Southern California when she was two where she grew up with her sisters Lynne and Julie, and brothers Bill and Kevin. Diane's mother Chan, her sister Julie and brothers Bill and Kevin still live in Southern California. Her sister Lynne lives in Alabama. Diane is survived by her husband Walter Swanson, three stepchildren, Scott, Jackie, Steve and four grandchildren as well as her Mother, brothers and sisters. Diane fought hard against brain cancer for a year. She lost that battle on Wednesday, Jaunary 30th, 2008 at 4:00 PM. Diane was a magnificent woman and a magnificent wife, who left this life way too early. For now, she is with her Dad, whom she loved very much. Diane was truly loved by everyone who met her, and I will truly miss her until we meet again.'
