Obituary

Diane Evans

Diane Evans peacefully passed away on November 26, 2022 in Mission Viejo, CA.  She was born on April 18, 1933 in Los Angeles, CA.

She was the most wonderful, sweet, loving, and fun lady that ever graced this earth.  She was such a huge influence for good in our lives. She was loved by all who knew her. Through her unconditional and quiet love for her beloved husband Leon, she taught us all about the importance of love and family. We are beyond grateful for her Christlike example to everyone she came in contact with.

Diane was the best party thrower and gathered her family often. She loved the beach, traveling, Mexican food, chocolate, Diet Pepsi, snorkeling, shopping, the Lord, her family and especially her forever sweetheart… Leon. They lived the best love story and showed us by example what a perfect marriage is. She made our lives brighter every time she was in our presence. She had a light that was brighter than seems humanly possible. Oh, how we loved her!

Until we meet again… We know you’ll be preparing the best reunion parties for us in heaven! What a beautiful life you lived!  Survived by her husband Leon Evans, her 5 children- John Evans, Jeff Evans, Susan Bischoff, Sharon Mathis and Jim Evans, 31 grandchildren, 57 great grandchildren and 5 great great grandchildren.

My heart is heavy with the news of Diane’s passing. Thinking of the many years of our association with you, Diane and your family brings back so many wonderful memories and I can’t help but smile! She is an amazing woman who gave so much to her family and still had a heartful of love, joy and talent to share with the rest of us! God bless you and your family. You are in our prayers. Nolan will be happy to see her I know! Love, Joyce and Lisa

Thank you Diane for teaching us by example and with so much unconditional love. You taught us how to laugh, give, work, smile, include, envision, believe, support, connect…you taught us how to forgive by not judging others but seeking only to uplift them. You taught us joy. You taught us humility and confidence. You taught us the Spirit of the Law. You taught us how to love one another. You were an angel long before your journey home. Our prayers are with your incredible family as they walk this new path and experience your angelic presence. Thank you for being such a wonderful blessing to our family.
Love to you, Leon and your beautiful posterity.
    Dave and Suzi Ferguson
