Diane Marie Contreras
October 18, 1951 – August 26, 2024

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of our beloved sister, Diane Marie Contreras, at the age of 72. Born on October 18 ^th 1951 in Lynwood, California, Diane was a shining light in the lives of all who knew her.

Diane was known for her energetic personality and kindness in sprit. She touched the lives of the many who knew her. She was an avid Community Service volunteer and had a deep creative passion for sewing. Diane was also a dedicated caregiver to our departed Mother. She enjoyed her career as an Office Manager in the Finance & Tax preparation field and she gave her all to everything she did.

She is survived by her siblings Ruedy, David, Mark, Leslie & Craig who will miss her dearly, as well as nieces and nephews, Garrett & CJ Grissim, Rachel Contreras, Lauren & Elizabeth Contreras and Marissa Contreras.

Visitation to be held on Wednesday September 18 ^th from 7:00 to 9:00 PM at O'Connor Mortuary in Laguna Hills, California.

A Memorial Mass will be offered on September 19 ^th at 9:45AM at San Francisco Solano Catholic Church in Rancho Santa Margarita, California followed by an 11:30AM graveside service at her final resting place at Ascension Cemetery in Lake Forest, California

A celebration of life to follow immediately afterward at Morena's Restaurant in Lake Forest, CA.

The family would like to give the option of either sending flowers or donating in Diane's memory directly to the Alzheimer's Association ( act.alz.org ).

Her presence in our life was a gift, and she will forever be remembered for her love of family and friends, willingness to help others, and her vivacious laugh.
