Diana Michelle
Fusco
July 1, 1960 – January 10, 2019
Diana Michelle Fusco, beloved mother, grandmother (Yia-Yia), sister, aunt and friend passed away peacefully on January 10, 2019. Diana passed away peacefully at home after a valiant struggle against cancer. Although we are heartbroken that she is no longer with us, we are rejoicing that she is free from pain and is enjoying a reunion with those who have gone before. Diana was blessed with two daughters Dollie and Mckenze-Rae, her son-in-law Joshua and grandchildren Kalea and King. She was born in New London, Connecticut on July 1, 1960. She grew up in Connecticut with her Mother Francine Gould, Stepfather Robert Gould and 6 brothers and sisters, Richard Fusco, Robert Fusco, James Stavrinos, Glen Gould, Angela Gould and John Gould. She now is at peace in heaven with her father Gregory Fusco who preceded her death in 1963.
Diana was a happy and delightful person with a loving spirit. She made everyone she met feel loved, appreciated and beautiful. Her greatest joy was spending time with her family. She loved being near the ocean and especially seeing the beauty at sunset.
Diana spent her career as a cosmetologist/hair dresser owning and managing her own salons over the years. She moved to California in 2014 to be a Yia-Yia and devoted her life to her grandchildren and her calling as a Ward Missionary. She made friends wherever she went and was a shining light always making a positive difference in every community where she made her home.
Diana served in many callings in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She especially enjoyed working on genealogy and family history. She found peace in the temple and great joy in doing work for family members. Attending gospel study classes were the highlight of each week for her and she loved feasting on the gospel. She loved to hear uplifting Christian music, one of her favorite songs was “I know that my Redeemer lives.”
Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, January 19, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. at the Laguna Niguel Stake Center, 22851 Aliso Creek Rd, Aliso Viejo, CA 92656. All are welcome. In lieu of flowers, please support the Missionary Fund of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.

“ Yea, and are willing to mourn with those that mourn; yea, and comfort those that stand in need of comfort, and to stand as witnesses of God at all times and in all things, and in all places that ye may be in, even until death, that ye may be redeemed of God, and be numbered with those of the first resurrection, that ye may have eternal life” (Mosiah 18:9)
