In Loving Memory
Diana Marie Leung

The Lord blessed us with a precious gift on May 11, 1992. Diana was born in Fountain Valley, California and grew up with four loving and protective brothers, Michael, Matthew, Jonathan and James. They always commented on how much of a caring and loving sister she was. She was just as involved in sports and outdoor activities as the boys were. She loved fishing, camping and the beach. She was an ‘A’ student and was a very personable individual. She loved life with a passion. She was aspiring to be a nurse or a veterinarian.

At a young age she realized the importance of God, prayer and adoration. She truly had a spiritual relationship with the Lord and wisdom beyond her years. She loved the Footprints story of Jesus where He carried the individual in times of adversity. Her room has the verse inscribed on the wall ‘When you saw only one set of footprints, it was then that I carried you.’ Jesus has carried her through her four years of battling her pineal blastoma cancer. Now she can truly rest in peace in His loving arms.

Thank you Lord for allowing Diana to have been our daughter, sister, friend and companion. She was a gift we will love and remember.

The only thing that cancer ever claims is a tired, worn body and even that is a hollow victory, for it can never claim our soul.

I’m so glad to know this angel walked with our precious Lord while she was on earth. God bless your family.

  2. Diana,
You were what every teacher hopes for in a student: dedicated, conscientious, and a
model citizen. As your 5th grade teacher at TM, you were an inspiration to those around you.

I thank Diana for showing us the meaning of love, fortitude, faith, and courage in the years that she enriched us with her presence.
