As I think back we had some great joys and few sorrows. Thinking of Uncle Derald and the visits and the vacations will always make me smile. As in your relationship as I have watched over the years Uncle Derald seemed to take the first step toward a new adventure and that is all he has done now, paving the way and smoothing things out for you. It is a new life and should be celebrated as we all know he is watching over you.

To My Loving Father…As we gather to say our good-byes, You are saying hello. As tears fall down our cheeks, tears fall down your cheeks. Ours for the great loss we feel over and over again, yours for the walk of new life you begin. Remember us, we’ll remember you…In God we all must trust, For we know he is with you and us. One day we shall all be together again, For we know not how, why or when. We know you will be there waiting, helping to lead us to the place where we will say hello… as tears fall down our cheeks.
    Remembering You Forever, Renee

  3. For the greatest grandfather in the world…
I can remember all of the good times I have shared with my grandpa. He was such a kind and gentle man no matter what the situation was. He is someone that will be in my heart forever. I will truly miss him. I can’t wait for the day I meet him again. I have truly cherished every moment I have spent with him. I love him so much and I always will!

  4. Uncle Derald I am sorry I never got to know you better and I wish we had more memories. But I can tell you out of the few memories I have my favorite is the opal earings you gave me for christmas when I was younger. I remember thinking that those earings were the most beautiful things I had ever seen. And that my god father must love me a great deal for him to buy me such a beautiful gift. Thank you for your love and I know you will be waiting for Melinda on the other side, just to spend another lifetime with her. We all love you uncle Derald and we know your watching over us.

  5. Melinda,
You know I understand a lot of what you faced with Derald. What a charming man he was good-looking, too!. You cared for him with grace and courage. Gwen
