Obituary

Denise Elaine Richmond was born Denise  Hibsch on May 4, 1951 in Monterey Park, California, and passed away on August 26that age 67 in Westminster.

Denise graduated from California State University, Sacramento in 1979 with a bachelors degree in speech pathology.  She worked for the California Department of Health Care Services as an analyst and health program specialist for 27 years.  She was a passionate genealogist, and very active in the Orange County Genealogical Society.  Denise enjoyed travel, especially to spots at or near the ocean.  She also developed and published a book on her own family.

Denise has lived in Laguna Woods for the past 5 years, and will be remembered for her kind, gentle and helpful spirit.  She is survived by her husband Scott Richmond, and her brothers Martin Hibsch and Dean Hibsch.  Memorial services will be held in Orange County and Sacramento in the coming weeks.
