Dean was married to his loving wife Ruth Andrews Hart for 53 and 1/2 years. Dean graduated from Long Beach Poly with the Class of 1945 and was a Navy Veteran of WWII.

Dean and Ruth have left their legacy at a number of churches over the years stretching from Long Beach and Escondido, CA to Arizona.

Dean is survived by his wife Ruth; son Kenneth Dean Hart; grandsons Daniel James and Michael Ryan Hart; twin brother Dale Hugh Hart and sister Virginia Bacon and several nieces and nephews.
