David Brandt Weisman July 23, 1917- May 13, 2012

David was born in Hamilton, Ontario Canada. His father Issac, a baker, and mother Helen, a concert pianist, both from Russia. At age 17, David enlisted in the Royal Air Force and shortly after in the American Air Force.

He proudly served in WWII as a Nightfighter pilot flying missions in the Pacific Theatre and was among the first American troops to occupy Japan.

David retired in 1961 as a full Colonel and continued to serve his country as a civil service employee until 1978.

1n 1950 David married the love of his life, Carolyn Rudolph and enjoyed 54 wonderful years until her death in 2004. They followed their children to California in 1974, never living more than a few miles away from family and friends.

David is survived by his two children, Patricia and Michael; his grandchildren Jason, Erin, Brandt, Zachary and Joshua; and great-grandchildren Hannah, Hayden, Camryn and Nolan.

Services will be held at Living Water Christian Fellowship on Sunday, May 20th at 3:00pm. Reception following the Memorial service at the home of Michael and Dana Weisman, 12345 Singingwood Dr., Santa Ana, CA 92705.
