David Tibbo from Rancho Santa Margarita, age 79, passed away at home on Thursday, November 28, 2019.

David is survived by his four daughters – Eva Leisure, Beverly Tibbo, Tanya Tibbo, Kristy Tibbo and 5 grandchildren- Joseph Duncan, Gabriella Barro, Sophia Mitchell, Elijah Mitchell and Oliver Mitchell.

David was born and raised in Sunderland, England, the son of Richard and Eva Tibbo. He moved to Southern California in the 70's and remained a resident here.

In his early years in England, Mr. Tibbo was a pastry chef. When he moved to California he continued working as a baker. Eventually he met his wife, Norma, and started a family. He enjoyed playing soccer as well as coaching his daughters soccer and softball teams.

Mr. Tibbo loved the simple things in life. Time with his family, watching soccer matches, smoking a relaxing pipe and a nice glass of wine or a Mai Tai, were top on his list.

A private Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, December 14th. Donations in David's memory can be made to The American Cancer Society at donate3.cancer.org .
