  4. It is hard to imagine life without “The Gate”. Jodi, You were the candle of his life. Dave was the most positive person I have ever met. He had a saying in life ” Be the Best! What else is There?” Whether it was life, work, friendships or the battle with cancer, that is is how he lived every day of his life. He will be missed greatly. He would want all family and friends to celebrate his life and not spend much time grieving his passing. He would want us to get up, shake it off, and have fun in our lives. And of course “Be the best!” at what we do. We need to continue life in the way He would want us to. Love, One of his best friends, and most recently, His Godfather, Tony

My heart is broken. David loved and liked to talk about the surfing safari trips our boys took in the summer. Now he will be surfing with Ryan in paradise where we will join them someday. May the peace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you dear friend. Ron and I will never forget his laughter. Blessings.
